Medal hopes dashed after gruelling race

Team Isle of Man were unable to grab a medal in the Men's Road Race at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Ben Swift was first over the finish line in Warwick coming 15th with a time of 3:32:23.

Matt Bostock was forced to pull out of the 160km race due to 'technical difficulties' during the final chase.

Mark Cavendish finished in 44th and Sam Brand in 63rd.
