The Isle of Man's Jade Burden was in the red corner of the ring as she competed at her first ever Commonwealth Games.
The 31-year-old took on England's Gemma Richardson in the Women's Lightweight at the NEC in Birmingham.
She was beaten on points 0-5 by Richardson. A unanimous decision by five judges saw the England boxer go through to the semi-finals.
