Yellow weather warning due to ice, frost

The Island's Met Office is warning of icy patches and frost this morning.

A yellow weather warning came into place yesterday evening and will remain active until midday.

Meteorologists warn clear skies overnight will have resulted in temperatures dropping to almost freezing in some places, potentially leaving icy patches on any wet surfaces.

The conditions are mainly expected to affect upland roads and higher ground.
