An amber weather warning is in place on the Isle of Man this morning following freezing temperatures overnight.
The Met Office is warning of ice on routes over 800ft above sea level, as well as some lower areas.
Forecasters say the clear skies overnight mean the road surface temperatures will have fallen to or slightly below freezing, leading to icy patches where roads were damp.
The Department of Infrastructure's gritters were deployed on a number of the Island's busiest roads yesterday evening, including the Mountain Road and Laxey Coast Road.
