The British National Road Cycling Championships gets underway on the Isle of Man today.
The time trial events take place in the west of the Island along the coast road to Kirk Michael and back along the TT course to Ballacraine.
The women's competition gets underway this morning followed by the under-23s men this afternoon, while the men's event gets underway at 6.30pm.
Current time trial champion Alex Dowsett will defend his crown, while Manx riders Mark Christian and Elliot Baxter are among a number of local entrants, along with Anna Christian in the women's contest.
Road closures will be in place along the route throughout the day.
The road races take place on Sunday.
