Shopping centre cafe announces closure

Cafe Avanti has been in the Strand Shopping Centre for seven years.

Another business in the Strand Shopping Centre has announced it is closing its doors.

Cafe Avanti confirmed on Facebook that it will close it's doors on January 15th.

The cafe, which has been in the Strand for seven years, says the closure is due to the centre redevelopment.

HMV, Millets, and the Manx Crafters Gift Shop are all currently holding closing down sales, while Mothercare shut its doors earlier this month.

Sports Direct purchased the shopping centre earlier this year.
