Lifeboat Launch and Douglas Bay Search

A parachute flare aids the search teams

Douglas Lifeboat and Coastguards were called out in the early hours of this morning (Boxing Day) to help search for a missing person.

The Lifeboat launched a parachute flare to light up the search area which included the Conister Rock, Piers and Douglas Beach

The search was called off at 2.15am when the missing person was located safe and and well elsewhere.
