Three candidates to contest Douglas North by-election

Three candidates will contest the Douglas North by-election next month.

Businessmen David Ashford and Ralph Peake will go up against shipping officer Maire Booth.

The election will take place on May 21st - polling stations will be open between 8am and 8pm.

It follows the election of MHK Bill Henderson to the Legislative Council.
