Terminally ill singer Katherine Crowe has made it into the UK independent singles chart despite not having reached the official UK top 100.
Katherine has released a version of ‘Smile’ by Charlie Chaplin which is song that has personal meaning to her.
There was a huge community campaign to try to get the song into the top 40 and even optimism that it could have made Christmas number one.
When the official charts were released yesterday, ‘Smile’ came in at number 12 on the best-selling independent singles.
Afterwards Katherine urged her Facebook followers to chase their dreams and says her next project is to perform a live concert, hopefully to a packed Villa Marina.
