The organisers of the Manx Two Day Trial confirm they’ve been forced to move the event next year.
The Isle of Man Centre of the Autocycle Union says it follows the government’s review of the Manx Grand Prix.
The trial is usually held on the August bank holiday weekend, but the Saturday looks set to become a race day for the MGP from 2013.
Organisers say the closure of the TT course creates significant difficulties for the trial, including the problems ensuring sufficient observers and medical personnel can be present.
They’re currently trying to arrange a new date, which it’s hoped will be close to the old one.
