Boat parts stolen in Derbyhaven

Police are investigating after the stern drive was stolen from a boat in Derbyhaven.

The Ford 1.8 diesel engine has been removed from the rear of the 18ft Teal boat.

Unless this has been taken as a direct replacement it will be useless, as the drive shaft and gear box remain with the boat.

The theft occured between 2.30 last Tuesday afternoon and 12.30pm the following day.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this item are asked to contact Castletown Police Station.
