It was another record in Parish Walk history as Jock Waddington became the first ever person to win three victories in a row.
Despite blistering heat during the early stages, the warm night added to the challenge of the event celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Waddington crossed line in 15 hours 18 minutes and 6 seconds, ranking as the third fastest time in the events history and by a 40 minute clear margin over 2nd.
That position was claimed by Vinnie Lynch who was 10 minutes ahead of 3rd, Michael George.
Claiming the women’s crown, 12th place went to Susan Moore in a time of 17 hours 44 mins and 13 seconds .
