Day Six: Jessica Li defeats Zambia's Elizabeth Chipeleme to progress to next round

There were roars from the crowd when the Isle of Man's Jessica Li took to Court 3 at the NEC this evening.

She won 0-2 against Zambia's Elizabeth Chipeleme.

Game One saw Li win 15-21 and another win in Game Two 8-21.

The 24-year-old moves through to the next round tomorrow. She'll face Sabrina Scott from Barbados in the Women's Singles Round of 32.

Jessica said she was pleased with her performance.

She spoke to Energy FM afterwards.
