Day Three: Track Cycling

In Track Cycling, the Island’s Matthew Bostock and Matthew Draper have qualified for this evening's finals at the Anna Mears Velodrome at the Commonwealth Games.

The real story was the intense battle at the back and Draper was dominating the TV Commentary as he looked to be in real trouble to hang on.

With only the top 12 going through to the final tonight, Draper had to beat India’s Manjeet Singh who was ahead of him. As the bell rang Draper pulled out ahead and crossed the line ahead of Singh firming up his place in the Final alongside his Team Mate Matthew Bostock who came 7th.

It takes place tonight at 9.47pm that’s 12.47pm BST.

Updated: In the final Matthew Bostock finished 6th, but sadly for Matthew Draper, he retired.
