55 new street signs for the centre of Douglas

Douglas Council are going to change street signs around the town centre to mark the capital’s city status.
 
There are two new sets – one for pedestrian areas and the other for streets and roads used by vehicles.
 
It’s costing the local authority £5,000 but Leader of the Council Claire Wells says using in house staff to do the designs has kept costs down.
