Commissioners rates might be affected by resignations

Patrick Commissioners’ rates setting may be affected by the recent resignations of three board members.
 
Clerk at Arbory and Rushen Commissioners, Phil Gawne says residents should expect a by-election to be called.
 
The former local authority members quit after it was found ‘Commissioner X’ acted ‘ultra vires’ in a report done by the Tynwald Commissioner for Administration Angela Main-Thompson.
 
Mr Gawne, a former infrastructure minister, says the board that’s left will struggle to make decisions:
