The Manx Grand Prix is only a matter of weeks away, with the first day being Sunday, August 20.
Laylaw Racing will be returning to defend the 3-lap Sure Lightweight title after it’s victory last year. The team has a three rider line up of Mike Browne, Ian Lougher and Adam McLean.
In 2022, the team took first and second place with Browne and Lougher. This will be McLean’s first return to the Mountain Course since 2018 when he finished second to Lee Johnston in the Lightweight Classic TT.
Reigning Classic Senior champions, Davies Motorsport, will be back at the Manx Grand Prix later this month and will also contest the RST Classic Superbike Race for the first time.
The Carole Nash Classic Senior Race will see Michael Rutter and Dominic Herbertson line up on a pair of Yamaha TX500, with Mike Browne on-board a newly-developed Yamaha YZF750 for the final Classic Superbike Race.
The 4-lap Carole Nash Classic Senior Manx Grand Prix is scheduled to take place at 12:45pm on Saturday, August 26, and the 4-lap RST Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix is scheduled to take place at 14:15pm on Monday, August 28.
