Tue, 04 Jul 2023

Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man has been awarded funding which will help the implementation and launch of its Digital Transformation Project.

Two grants, totalling £24,195, will be used for the charity’s latest initiative, which is to move online.

Cruse Bereavement Care is a Manx registered charity founded in 1998, which offers free, voluntary and confidential bereavement support for anyone on the Isle of Man.

By implementing a CRM Solution, this should create efficient and administrative systems, create easier flow of work tasks, reduce time on administration, increase enhanced outcome measures reporting and also move to online systems and reduce paper usage.

Once the training of the new Digital Coordinator is complete and the system has been sent live, knowledge and skills will be taught to volunteers and staff, upskilling them through various training workshops on how they can manage their administrative work digitally and efficiently.

Judy Arnold, BEM, Chair of Cruse Bereavement Care IOM, said: ‘The Digital Transformation Project will be a big change for many involved in the charity, so we plan to manage this carefully via a thorough training program. Although it might seem complicated at first, the training and learning has proven successful so far, and we can already identify familiarity with the system.

‘We are confident that by bringing our systems online and up to date, the charity has a long future in continuing to support those affected by bereavement. Thank you to the Manx Lottery Trust for the generous grants, which will enable us to carry this project through to the end result.’
