The Isle of Man's Yasmin Ingham is once again on the starting list for the Land Rover Kentucky 3 Day Event in Lexington.

This year she arrives as the current Eventing World Champion after her sensational victory in Pratoni Roma last September.

Twelve months ago Ingham was runner up to German Michael Jung who is not competing at Kentucky this year - But it was Jung who a few months later Ingham beat to take the World title.

But all eyes are now on the entry at this years event where Ingham will be riding her World Champion mount Banzai Du Loir.

The absence of Michael Jung does not mean the 25 year old Ingham will have an easy ride. This event is a magnet for some of the worlds top Eventers, with the entry list said to contain the strongest US 5 star field for some time.

Alongside Ingham from Great Britain is former World Champion Zara Tindall riding Class Affair, Olympic Team Gold Medallist Tom McEwen riding JL Dublin, Kirsty Chabert riding Classic VI and David Doel riding Galileo Nieuwmoed.

Going in to the competition, "Equiratings" who are online stats analysts, have placed Ingham as third favourite behind fellow British rider Tom McEwen and Amercian Tamie Smith who is ranked favourite.

We caught up with Yasmin after Banzai had passed the first horse inspection.
