Entries for the 2023 Manx Grand Prix have officially opened today with the Race Organiser also confirming the schedule for the five-race programme of events.
First qualifying for the centenary MGP gets underway with an afternoon session on Sunday 20th August, with Newcomers the first away for their Speed Controlled Lap followed by a session for the Senior and Classic Superbike machines, and a session for the Junior, Classic Senior, and Lightweight machines.
Monday 21st to Thursday 24th feature the traditional evening qualifying sessions, with afternoon qualifying on Friday 25th followed by the first race of the bank holiday weekend – the 3-lap Lightweight Race.
Saturday 26th August opens with an optional warm-up lap for all competitors followed by the 4-lap Classic Senior Race and the 4-lap Junior Race, with the ‘Legends of the Manx Grand Prix’ lap taking place in between the two.
The August Bank Holiday Monday hosts the final day of action. Another optional warm-up lap opens proceedings followed by the 4-lap Senior Race and the 4-lap Classic Superbike Race bringing the curtain down on the centenary Manx Grand Prix.
