The opportunity to run catering facilities at one of the Isle of Man’s most popular heritage sites is now being advertised.

The Coffee Station, situated at the House of Manannan in Peel is open to lease via a competitive process.

Manx National Heritage (MNH) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced individuals and businesses to grow and develop the café facility, which is popular with visitors and locals alike.

Steve Blackford, Head of Properties for Manx National Heritage, said: “Manx National Heritage enjoy working with dedicated and creative caterers to deliver convenient, fresh, quality food, showcasing Manx produce and provide a warm and friendly welcome all year round for our many visitors from near and far.

MNH is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced caterer with a successful track record to continue to grow an already well-established hospitality outlet. Across our sites, we aim to work with catering partners who are keen to develop sales, are passionate about customer service and attention to detail and also have a committed policy of reducing environmental impact and inspiring sustainable living”.

The café is the first of three catering opportunities set to become available, with the lease of Niarbyl Café on the Island’s West Coast and the Bay Room Café at the Manx Museum set to be advertised in early 2023.

MNH is seeking offers to lease the café for a five years.
