Teachers begin strike action on Isle of Man

Members of NASUWT-The Teachers’ Union have begun strike action this morning.

It's part of there ongoing dispute over pay, workload and working practices.

The NASUWT is calling for a multi-year fully funded pay offer that begins to address the real-terms historic erosion of pay.

Picket lines will be held this morning outside Castle Rushen, Ballakermeen and St Ninian’s schools.
