Recycling Changes in Arbory and Rushen Parishes

Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners will be changing the way they support recycling in the parishes from Monday.

Since late 2021 the Commissioners have had an arrangement with Beach Buddies to collect recyclates in their special recycling bins at set locations around the parishes. This initial trial has been completed and the Commissioners have agreed to trial a further recycling option over the next few months. The temporary Beach Buddies recycling bins will be removed at the end of July.

From Monday, parishioners will be offered a limited discounted subscription when they sign up to the kerbside service offered by recyclecollect.im.

This will be a limited trial with the Commissioners reviewing the success of the service early next year.
