Arrests made after young male sustains puncture wound

Police are appealing for witnesses after a young male sustained a puncture wound to the abdomen following a serious assault in Douglas.
 
It happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning which led to Groves Road being closed for around ten hours.
 
Officers said the victim remains in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries which are believed not to be life threatening.
 
A number of individuals have been arrested and the investigation of this incident is still continuing.
 
Police believe this was an isolated incident due to a dispute between those concerned.
