Fresh from her recent second place at the 5*Kentucky Horse Trials, the Isle of Man’s Yasmin Ingham has been called up to Team GB for this weekend’s World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen in Germany.
This time, Ingham will ride 12 year old Rehy DJ alongside fellow Team GB riders William Fox-Pitt, Ros Canter and Tom McEwan.
The campaign gets underway on Friday morning with Dressage. Ingham has consistently scored under 30 penalties in this phase with him, so will be hoping to replicate that performance to set herself up going in to Showjumping later in the day.
Saturday morning sees the Cross Country over an almost 4000m course. Ingham will have to leave the starting box in determined mood, as the optimum time is just 7 minutes. However, being ‘Pathfinder’ for the British Team, Ingham’s round will act as the reconnaissance for the remaining Team members.
