Hearse driver sacked after acting "unprofessionally" while driving vehicle with coffin in the back

A man has been sacked after a viral video showed him behaving "unprofessionally" while being employed at a Port Erin funeral directors.

The video shows the man dancing to loud music and making faces while driving a hearse with a coffin in the back.

In a statement on Facebook, T.S. Keggen and Son Funeral Directors said: "We are aware of a video that was posted on social media this morning of an employee behaving unprofessionally. We are appalled by this and will never condone the behaviour and actions demonstrated in this video."

"The matter has been dealt with swiftly and privately and the person involved is no longer employed by the business. We sincerely apologise to anyone who has been upset or effected by the video."

It has been reported the person sacked is a family member of the company.
