Teen flown to UK hospital with serious injuries

A 17-year-old boy has been flown to Aintree Hospital with serious injuries following a serious collision.

Emergency services were called to the Switchback at just after 5:30pm yesterday.

The teenager from Peel was driving a black Ford Fiesta when he crashed.

Police confirmed he was transferred by air ambulance to the hospital in Liverpool.
