Rural bus app cost £28,700

More than 1,500 people have downloaded an app for booking rural bus trips in the north of the Island.

The MANNgo app was launched in October at the cost of £28,700.

The Department of Infrastructure also spent £2,860 on marketing according to figures revealed following a Tynwald written answer by the Infrastructure Minister.

Tim Crookall said average daily passenger numbers on the Connect Village scheme was currently 84.
