CoMin to meet to assess Covid restrictions

The Council of Minister will meet later to discuss the possibility of furthering Covid-19 restrictions.

Two possible cases of the Omicron variant were detected on the Isle of Man over the weekend.

The cases were picked up by the lab at Nobles and have been sent to the UK for confirmation.

Only mask wearing is required on public transport and healthcare settings under current restrictions.

As of yesterday, the number of active cases on the Island is 773.
