Manx Telecom Parish Walk 2022 opens for entries

Registration for the 2022 Manx Telecom Parish Walk has now opened with early bird entries available for just £40, discounted further to £35 for Manx Telecom mobile customers.

The Manx Telecom customer discount for this enormously popular event will end on 31^st January 2022 and the early bird offer will finish on 31^st March 2022 when the standard entry fee of £50 will apply. Final entries must be made by 8^th May 2022 and all registrations must be made online at http://www.parishwalk.com

Taking place on Saturday 18^th June, the 2022 Manx Telecom Parish Walk will see the introduction of a number of environmental initiatives that organisers hope will lead to an increasingly sustainable and lower impact approach for the event. These include “Tree for T”, a donation of £5 towards a conservation charity on the Island for every entrant who declines the traditional Parish Walk sports shirt.

As part of efforts to reduce plastic waste, a reusable compressible cup that can be easily carried and filled at the feed stations will be offered to walkers and feed station partners will be encouraged to use veg ware or cellulose items where possible.

Last year’s Fanzone for spectators at Knockaloe Farm, Patrick, will also be making a comeback to help with road safety and to provide an enjoyable festival-style atmosphere for supporters.
