IOM woman accused of trying to bring more than £360k worth of heroin into Jersey

A Manx woman has been remanded in custody in Jersey.

35-year-old Tara-Lei Cowell from the Isle of Man and 44-year-old Michael Clohessy from Liverpool were both arrested on Sunday.

The pair have been charged with several counts of drug importation.

It's estimated the drugs have a street value of between £225,000 and £360,000.

They will next appear before the Royal Court on the 7th of January 2022.
