Motorist cut free from vehicle

A motorist was taken to hospital following a crash in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services were called to Main Road in Santon at just before 2am.

Firefighters cut free the driver of the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment.

New Castletown Road was closed for around four hours whilst damaged electricity cables were repaired.
