Witness appeal after woman struck by car

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Peel.

It happened at around 3:30pm last Friday.

Officers from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team said the incident happened on the small one way lane that leads from Peveril Road to Mountain View

During this incident it has been reported that the wing mirror of a black hatchback vehicle using the said lane struck the elbow of a female as she was walking home with her child from school.

A spokesperson said: "We would like to speak with the male driver of this black hatchback vehicle, whom has been described as looking to be in his 60’s with white / grey hair and of average build."

"The driver of this vehicle stopped and spoke with the female at the scene."

Officers would ask that the driver contact Peel Police Station on 842208, quoting reference 97/46052/21
