Invasive Pacific Pink Salmon found in local river

DEFA have reported an invasive species of salmon have been found in a local river.

A female Pacific Pink Salmon was captured by an angler in the Neb river. These species are becoming more prevalent around UK waters.

Fisheries Management are asking all captures should be reported to them.

If caught, people should dispatch it, photograph it, freeze the salmon and contact Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture for collection.
