Firefighters tackle blaze at cinema

Firefighters were called to a fire at the Palace Cinema earlier.

Crews from Douglas were called the property on Central Promenade.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire. They also ventilated the smoke-logged premises.

No injuries were reported.
