General Election: Police warn over election betting site

Residents on the Isle of Man are being advised to avoid a website which claims to be compiling statistics for next week's General Election.

Isle of Man Constabulary says it has been looking into the site known as 24 Keys.

The force said enquiries indicate the gambling site is hosted off-Island and therefore doesn't come under the supervision of Isle of Man authorities.

The website claims to use social media as a way to track and score candidates.

A cash betting option was available until today but has been removed.
