Police officer stabbed in Ramsey

A police officer has been injured while responding to an incident in Ramsey.

Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed the incident happened at around 8pm on Sunday evening.

The officer was conducting enquiries at a property at the time and sustained knife wounds.

The force said female resident was also injured.

Both parties needed hospital treatment for serious injuries.

One person has been arrested and remains in custody.
