Police appeal following Peel incident

Police are appealing for information following an incident behind Peel Castle.

It happened on Tuesday between 8pm and 8:30pm.

Officers say a young male was swimming in the sea when an unknown male approached his belongings, picked up his prescription sports goggles and threw them into the sea.

The victim searched the area of where they landed, but was not able to locate them. As such, the police are now investigating this as a theft.
