Alex Allinson to stand in General Election

Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson has announced his intention to stand in this year's General Election.

Dr Allinson is an independent candidate and is also a member of the Council of Ministers.

He was first elected to the House of Keys in 2016, and later appointed minister of the Department of Education, Sport and Culture in March last year.

Lib Van leader Lawrie Hooper will also be standing for Ramsey in the September election.
