People who attended live music gig at the Hydro must self-isolate

Thu, 04 Mar 2021

People who attended a live music event at a hotel in Douglas have been told to self-isolate.

The event took place last Friday at the Hydro Hotel on Queen's Promenade.

Two people who attended the privately arranged band night in the hotel function room has since tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement on social media, The Hydro said: "Track and trace confirmed that ONLY people who attended the specific event need to isolate, and that staff and guests from Pico's need to take no further action and have no cause for alarm as they were in separate parts of the building and the guests were solely at the band night. If there are any changes to this guidance we will let people know ASAP."
