COVID 111 team under pressure admits Ashford

Health Minister David Ashford has admitted the COVID 111 team are under immense pressure due to the amount of enquiries from the public.

A number of people have reported being unable to get through or receive a callback to get a test.

Yesterday, a fault was found with the line and fixed by Manx Telecom.

More than 300 households across the Island are now in self-isolation.

Mr Ashford says additional people have been added to the team to deal with the number of calls:
