Island schools at breaking point says Education Minister

The number of students attending school has more than doubled since the last lockdown.

Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson said 674 primary school pupils and 92 secondary school pupils attended today.

Figures from the last lockdown show 259 attended primary schools and 40 at secondary schools.

No educations hubs are being offered with children of key workers and vulnerable children instead attending their regular school.
