Fund offers support to returning students
Thu, 26 Nov 2020
Students returning to the Isle of Man for Christmas may apply for assistance from the Manx Solidarity Fund.
The Fund will provide up to a maximum of £250 to qualifying applicants if they can demonstrate a need for additional financial support to enable their 14 day self-isolation in alternative accommodation.
All applications from students will be processed and checked in conjunction with the Department of Education, Sport and Culture’s Student Awards team.
The additional support will only be provided to those eligible students staying in accommodation that is listed on the Isle of Man Government’s ‘Select Accommodation Isolation List”.
Applications for the Manx Solidarity Fund support can only be made via its online portal.
