Firefighters called to flat fire

Firefighters were called to a flat fire in Ramsey over the weekend.

Crews were sent to Stanley Mount West at 1:45am on Saturday.

On arrival crews discovered a flat in the property was smoke logged due to burnt foodstuffs.

The occupant of the flat had returned from a night out and fell asleep whilst cooking.
