Returning students offered study space

Tue, 17 Nov 2020

Students returning home early from their studies in the UK are being encouraged to take up an offer of help from University College Isle of Man (UCM).

Many students from the Island have been faced with uncertainty as restrictions, including a second lockdown in England, have been stepped up due the global pandemic.

UCM has offered to provide a place to study and free access to its library and some computer resources to help students to continue their studies.

Those interested must present their UK student card on arrival and can check opening hours by emailing library@ucm.ac.im.

According to a recent survey more than 90% of overseas students plan to return home to the Isle of Man before Christmas. Anyone who does so must isolate for 14 days on arrival.
