Telephone line fault affecting GP surgeries

GP Practices across the Island are currently experiencing difficulties with their telephone systems.

People have reported being unable to make an appointment and experience delays in contacting their practice.

A Manx Government spokesperson said: "This is being worked on and we hope it will be resolved shortly."

"Your patience is much appreciated and if you can wait until another day to make contact with your practice that would assist at this time. However, if you are contacting your GP and you have chest pain or your condition may be life threatening please dial 999 immediately or for Covid-19 related queries please dial 111."
