Douglas Coastguard aid evacuation

Douglas Coastguards assisted with evacuating a casualty in Douglas on Saturday.

Volunteers were called to assist paramedics from Douglas Head.

The casualty was carried to an ambulance at the Pigeon Stream Car park on Marine Drive and taken to Noble's Hospital.

A spokesman said: ’The incident was jointly coordinated by Our Marine Ops Centre and Emergency Services Joint Control Room, all equipment and vehicles were back on station and ready for service again by 8.15pm.’
