Firefighters tackle shed fire

Firefighters were called to a shed fire in Santon on Saturday evening.

Crews from Douglas and Castletown were sent to Ballavale Road at just after 5pm.

High-pressure hose reels were used to extinguish the fire from both inside the structure and from a ladder as it had broken through the roof of the shed.

Once extinguished, crews checked for hot spots with thermal imaging cameras.
