84 arrested for breaking coronavirus regulations

84 people have been arrested for breaching the Island's emergency coronavirus regulations.

Home Affairs Minister Graham Cregeen confirmed the figure during this afternoon's House of Keys sitting.

Mr Cregeen said 84 people had been arrested as of Tuesday ths week.

He also said 24 people have been on remand and officers issued four fixed penalty notices.

15 people have so far been convicted of offences, 12 of whom have been sentenced to time at Jurby prison.
