Cashless payments only on buses from today

Thu, 26 Mar 2020

Cash will no longer be accepted on all Bus Vannin services from today.

The Winter Sunday Service will continue to run with some added Saturday Services.

Due to zero demand the reduced school bus service provided yesterday for children of key workers will no longer run.

Customers will be required to pay by contactless or Go Cards.

The £2 fee for a Go Card is being temporarily waived and they can be picked up from the following locations:

  • Douglas Ticket Hall (this facility will move to Lord Street Police Station in the following days)
  • Ramsey Bus Depot
  • Port Erin Railway Station
  • Peel Family History Building, Derby Road, Peel

Go cards can also be purchased and topped up online by visiting www.bus.im/gocards
